I've taken on knitting as my latest hobby. I'm beginning to worry myself as I notice that while everyone else is doing trendy things like learning to surf, I'm doing traditionally old people stuff like ballroom dancing and knitting. Are my queer interests contributing to my lack of a dating life or social life for that matter? I've been knitting like a mad woman everday this past week just so I can finish this scarf by tomorrow so I can start a new challenging project, like a ribbed scarf. And then I'll learn to "pearl," which by the way I know is a surfing term but couldn't tell ya what it means. Perhaps I should try and steer my interests in another direction so that when I get bored with this I can move on to something a bit "cooler."
